What are the prices of your software?
The Engineering Tools Suite has over 15 products, having a total of over 300 calculators. The MSRP (manufacturer's standard retail price) of each product is listed below. Prices are uniform for all platforms and operating systems.

When you purchase any package other than Engineering Utility Tools, you get Engineering Utility Tools v2.5 FREE.

A fully functional evaluation version of Engineering Tools software may be downloaded for free from this website. The demo is good for 15 uses, after which you must enter the registration key to use it.

Alternatively, you can place Custom Orders too. you can select ANY 30 Calculators for $50.
Please note : Custom Orders are Pre-Paid, i.e. Evaluation Versions of Custom Orders are not available. We encourage you to download and evaluate our products before placing a custom order.


What is included in the price?
When you purchase Engineering Tools software, you are buying a registration key that gives you a license to use our software. The registration key will turn the evaluation version into a registered single license software. When you place a Custom Order, a customized package (based on your selection) is sent to you within 2 business days of placing the order.


How do I obtain an evaluation version of your software?
The Evaluation version of our software can be downloaded from our website for free. To download the evaluation, click here or on the "Downloads" button found near the bottom of pages.


How do I purchase your software?
You can purchase our software directly through us using your credit card on our Secure Order Page (powered by Kagi) or through one of our software distribution partners using a credit card. A list of our partners can be found here.
First, download the Evaluation version of the software you wish to use, if you have not done so already. After evaluating the software, select the "Register Now" button on your handheld and follow the instructions to purchase Enggtools.com software. You will then receive a registration key via email. (The registration key will convert your evaluation version of Enggtools.com software into the standard version). What is the difference between the Evaluation and Standard versions?
The Evaluation version is a trial version, which you may use for up to 15 uses or 15 days (whichever is earlier) after you download it. The Evaluation software will expire after 15 uses or 15 days (whichever is earlier), and the screen of the handheld device will display the message: "Evaluation period expired. Please enter registration key to proceed" For exact terms, refer to the End User License Agreement.
The Standard version of Enggtools.com software does not time out. No evaluation message appears on the handheld. In terms of actual software functionality, the Evaluation and Standard versions of Enggtools.com software are the same. After you download the Evaluation version, you may purchase a registration key which converts the Evaluation version into the Standard version.


The software I downloaded doesn't work - why?
If you are unable to run an evaluation or complete version of our software that you downloaded, it may have gotten damaged in the download. You might see a message about a Win32 error, or that a file is not a 32bit application or is not a valid WinZip archive file. This usually means that the file was damaged during (or after) the download. If you are using a download manager such as Go!Zilla or Download Accelerator, you should first disable it or use the option to download the file without the download manager, then try the download again.
If you can run the installation file but can't install the program on your specific device, please check that you're installing the correct version of the program for your specific device. Get hardware and device information here. If you've purchased the wrong version of any of our products, whether directly from us or from one of our resellers, please send us an email and we'll exchange it for you.


How large is the Engineering Tools download file size?
The software packages are between 500K and 4M depending on the option you select.

Yes. We offer discounted site licenses for multiple quantities. We also have Academic Discount schemes.
The standard academic discount is 20%.

We do have versions for the Older Palm Sized PCs, Handheld PCs, HPC 2000 and other Windows CE based Engineering Hardware from suppliers such as Intermec, etc. For more information, please contact our Sales department at sales@enggtools.com.


What are the Warranty and Return Policies?
We offer a limited software warranty which is described in our End User License Agreement. We encourage customers to download a free copy of our software for evaluation before purchasing it. Once a software registration key is purchased, it may not be returned for a refund.


Can I get a printed manual?
The Help Files, Manuals and User Guides are available for download here. Please note that all files are in the eBook or the Adobe Acrobat format and you'll need an eBook reader or an Acrobat Reader on your Computer or your PDA to read these files. More information is provided here.
